The parish office is always in need of volunteers willing to give a few hours a week to insert flyers and other informational material in the weekly church bulletin. This work is generally done Thursday or Friday during office hours.
Volunteers to help mow and trim the parish lawn on Thursday, Friday or Saturday before Mass during the summer. Mowers, weed eater and gas are supplied. Flower bed care, weeding and trimming is done once a month. A parish clean up day is held every other month to include summer school clean up.
Divine Redeemer Prayer Line
We are always in need of "Prayer Warriors" to pray in intercession for others. Prayer Intentions are called into one person on the prayer line, who in turn calls several others to pray for the prayer requests. All that is required is a desire to pray for others.
St. Zita's Cleaning Team
The team cleans the church lightly every other week and thoroughly every other month, usually on Saturday mornings. The team is named after St. Zita, the patroness of domestic workers.
Teams of 3 or 4 dedicated volunteers count the weekly offertory on Monday mornings. A background check is required.
