The goal of the Divine Redeemer Youth Ministry Program is to provide young people with opportunities to bring life to their faith and bring their faith to life.  We strive to provide programs that will help them grow in their faith, embrace its traditions and discover the gift God ahs given and their call to be good stewards of those gifts.  Youth Ministry creates a safe, supportive and enabling environment for them to become fully active members of Divine Redeemer and the universal Church.

Middle School & High School Formation & Confirmation Prep

High School Youth Group/Formation
Thursday evenings 7:00-9:00 p.m.  September- May

Middle School Youth Group
Tuesday evenings 7:15-8:30 p.m.  September-May

Youth group is a less structure, more social gathering than Youth Formation classes.  It is topic oriented and open to all regardless of their enrollment status in formation classes.  Youth group gatherings include prayer, games, and presentations that are focused on the topic for the evening.  Friends are always welcome at Youth Group and there is no cost, and no registration required.  Topics for the fall will be announced through the parish bulletin and website.

Activity Release Form Download

“Purify My Heart”

Join us on Thursday, December 18th at 7:00 p.m. for a special Advent Retreat.  Often we go to God with our list of things we need from Him- change a situation, change a relationship, change a person… and we forget that sometimes we are what needs to change. Presented by Lara Dyer, “Purify My Heart”, will focus on creating a place for God to dwell within us.  This evening is open to all and is presented to the parish at no cost.  Join us in the sanctuary for a wonderful evening of prayer and fellowship!

Activities:
Youth activities at Divine Redeemer are open to youth entering 6th grade and older, unless noted. Registration forms with details are available from the youth office or youth ministry bulletin board. You will need to have an activity release on file from youth group, or include one with the paperwork for the first activity you participate in! We are always needing drivers and adult chaperones for activities! Please remember that if you sign up after the deadline, space may not be available.

Fundraising:
Religious Goods-   We will be starting our Religious Goods “store” early this spring.  We will have a selection of rosaries, jewelry, statues, medals and gifts available after each mass during the weekend and during office hours the rest of the week.
