Resources for Adults & Families

Mystagogy is a lifelong journey of growing closer to God, deepening our faith. It’s Greek root is the same as the root of mystery. In the biblical and Church traditions, a mystery is not something we solve — it is something we enter into with God in a sense of wonder, respect and awe.  It  is a lifelong journey of deepening the understanding and practice of the faith.  Each of us are still living, learning, growing in and called to share our faith.

Hebrews: The New and Eternal Covenant

Hebrews: The New and Eternal Covenant is an 8-week Bible study program that takes Catholics on a guided tour of what is considered the “Holy of Holies” of biblical theology.

Presented by Dr. Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins, this study program draws out the meaning of the book of Hebrews in a simple way and highlights the the critical differences between the Old and New Covenants.

After doing this study, you will be able to see, appreciate, and take hold of the riches God has given them in the New Covenant. And most importantly, this encounter with God through the lens of Hebrews will help Catholics get to know the generosity of the Father's heart in a deeper way than ever before.

The Sacraments

The great sacraments of the Church—Baptism, Confirmation, the Eucharist, Reconciliation, the Anointing of the Sick, Matrimony, and Holy Orders—have endured for thousands of years and structured countless lives. Everything in the Church’s life comes from and returns to them.

But there is far more to these ancient rites than meets the eye.

Bishop Barron looks at the great sacraments of the Church in all their theological depth, spiritual effects, and pastoral promise. The Sacraments will help you understand these signs and channels of grace and discover the secret behind their persistence down the ages: the presence and power of the Savior himself.
