Join us for our Divine Redeemer Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 18th, at Patty Jewett Golf Course. Tee off is at 7:30am. Pick your foursome, come out for some friendly competition and help us fundraiser for our DR community!
Thanks to all of our wonderful donors, we have experienced great success with this fundraiser and our parish continues to thrive. Proceeds from this year’s event will directly benefit safety and security projects around our parish. With last year’s tournament proceeds, we were able to install additional lighting between our preschool building and church. We were also able to install crash bars on one set of doors into our church.
We always strive to make our parish a better, safer place for all to worship. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will be used to continue our safety and security upgrades of our church, school and office buildings. We are in need of upgrading our egress into our buildings, reinforcing doors and windows, updating our safety and security systems which include updated smoke alarms and video surveillance. The estimated cost to get this project started is $50,000. We are looking for a net profit of $8,000 from our tournament to update all church entrance doors with crash bars, improve outdoor lighting and install additional video surveillance cameras this year.
Divine Redeemer Parish has celebrated 72 years of serving the Colorado Springs community. We are nestled in the Divine Redeemer neighborhood just north of the Olympic Training Center. With over 600 parish and school families, we are an active, vibrant parish serving our Lord, Jesus Christ and helping to shepherd those in need.
