Divine Redeemer Annual Festival
Divine Redeemer's Festival is a community building event for the parish and school that offers food, entertainment, crafts, raffles, and games for the children. It provides our parishioners an opportunity to celebrate with a variety of entertainment, while extending volunteer opportunities for every member of our community, from students to seniors.
Catholic Mothers of Faith (CMF)
A community of mothers, stepmothers, adoptive mothers, foster mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, teachers, caregivers and friends; stay at home, working or retired. This ministry strives to foster a community of faith, family and fellowship in support of our vocation as mothers in imitation of our Blessed Mother. Build-up our DR community! Mothers can do all things through God; we encourage, share, pray and work together in the glory of our Lord. Bring a woman, a friend or family and rejoice with us. CMF is led by a team of women who have felt the call to reach out to other women through this ministry. For more info, visit DR-CWF | Divine Redeemer Catholic Church.
Golf Tournament
Divine Redeemer hosts an annual golf tournament during the summer to raise funds for projects that might not otherwise get funded. The Stewardship Committee heads up planning for this tournament and, with the support of both parishioner and corporate donations, we have a wonderful turnout and a profitable event. The tournament is an 18-hole golf round complete with lunch, prizes and plenty of opportunity to support whether it be a hole sponsorship, a tiered team sponsorship (bronze, silver, or gold) or just signing up to play with your family or friends. Some of the improvements around the parish paid for by this annual tournament are new chairs in the choir and event hall, new ceiling in the event hall, and a good start to the elevator fund. Watch the bulletin for details in the springtime leading up the tournament for your chance to participate!
Knights of Columbus Council 4699/Ladies Auxiliary
A Catholic, family, fraternal service organization which carries forward the teachings and values of our Church with our bishops, priests and religious. The Knights of Columbus is an organization within our parish hosting special events.
Parish Picnic
Every year during the summer we come together for fun and fellowship at the parish picnic. This family day is filled with liturgy (Mass), volunteer recognition, a delicious potluck luncheon, entertainment, fun and games. Because this is such a large event, many volunteers are needed to help set up, serve food, help with games and clean up after the event.
Poverty Meals & Stations of the Cross
Each Friday evening during Lent various groups from the parish lead the Stations of the Cross followed by Mass, confession and a poverty meal of bread, soup and fruit. Come and enrich your spiritual experience during Lent.
Oktoberfest
Come and experience bratwurst, German pretzels, the oom-pah of German music, and of course lots of beer! Many volunteers are needed. Join us at this October celebration.
Seder Meal
The Seder Meal is a beautiful Jewish celebration for the feast of Passover. It is held in the community center each year on the Wednesday of Holy Week.
St. Francis Quilting Circle
Throughout the year the members of this ministry meet and create a beautiful quilt which is raffled off at the annual festival. Their handiwork is exquisite and a prized possession to the lucky winner of the quilt.
